This photograph is so strong because of the way the camera is placed on the table. I think the size difference between the camera and the figurine brings so much perspective to the shot. If the camera wasn’t there, the shot would change entirely and the figurine would look very lost. It is always interesting when a photograph is of another photograph in the works, so I was immediately drawn into this. The figurine looks so small in comparison to the camera because of the fact that we know how large a camera is and they aren’t that large.
