This photo screams happiness to me. During this awful time, we all need a reminder to smile. This photo embodies joy and appreciating the good times. I love how pure this woman’s smile is and all of her wrinkles and her missing teeth and her messy hair. Often we feel so weighed down by the way we look, and especially girls feel pressured by media to look a certain way. This woman has such hearty smile despite not being young she is still beautiful and happier than most of us. I think this photo really relays the message of the LUAG gallery. It is hard for me to not feel down and like I want to cry, and this photo is a reminder that I have a body that is capable of smiling and being happy.
