Tilt Shift Photography

Toy photography is large scale photography shot in a way that makes the subject look like a figurine or a miniature object. A Tilt Shift lens is used, which allows for a short depth of field. The lens moves in two ways. It tilts – which means it rotates the lens plane around the image plane, and shift – movement of the lens in parallel to the image plane. The lens allows for a unique shift in perspective which allows these large scale objects to look so small.
