Alfred Stieglitz Georgia O’Keeffe — Neck, 1921

This picture instantly caught my attention. This depiction of the female body and its beauty is one that I think is still extremely relevant and would be seen today. When I realized that this was Georgia O’Keeffe I was even more captivated by the shot. The tenderness of this photo is stunning. Stieglitz is able to shoot more intimately with O’Keeffe than many other photographers and their connection is present even in this close up shot. I am a really big fan of Stieglitz’s work and am inspired by all he has done for photography.
