I designed this book at my home in Wyckoff, New Jersey. All of the recipes inside are original recipes by my mom. My siblings and I have been asking my mom for years how she makes all her dishes and it wasn’t until recently that we thought it was time all the recipes get put into one place. Cooking is a huge part of our lives and this class gave me the opportunity to document the beauty of my mom’s food. This book is just the beginning and I hope that through this project more ideas are sparked and more original cookbooks are created.

Momma Cerms!!! what a stud. I love your book han! so fun and such a good idea. I love the final layout of your book. The typography is well layed out and each page is well balanced. I love the featured image of your mom too! (she looks awesome) and that pic really brought the book together!
I really love the background color choice that you chose for your cover, I think it really highlights the images while meshing with them extremely well. Your book idea itself is so clever, I would never have thought of turning our photography book into something genuinely so useful for years to come. Your choice of framing around some images looks great along with the photos that take up the entire page too. Your recipe pages may be my favorite element of your book, they look so professional and well put together from the spacing to the color choices. I think your moms gonna love it!!
