Wellness

“Wellness is often described as a dynamic relationship between mind, body, and spirit.  In the era of COVID-19, we are also confronting additional layers of social and biological entanglement that contribute to our collective sense of health and safety” (LUAG). This photograph titled “Doctor looking at patients lungs” by Flip Shulke was taken in 1960. The concept statement of this exhibition is captured in this image of a doctor treating a patient. The first step to achieving wellness is to ensure that you’re body is functioning properly. This image captures the moment that a patient is having their health evaluated by a professional.
