This photograph titled Seville, 1993, shot by Henri Cartier-Bresson caught my attention almost immediately. The first thing that caught my eye was the concrete arch that brings focus to everything within it. At first glance you may only see kids running down a destroyed path through a wall that has formed an arch from its destruction. However, once you look closer you can see that there is a large group of young boys playing and running after a kid who possibly took another boy’s crutches. The positioning of the camera directly leveled and the foreground almost surrounding the background adds to the composition and makes this shot extremely captivating.
