This image by the user, “Automatt” on flickr called, “There are no mini disasters” really piqued my interest for a few reasons. I love how the motion of fire and water is captured through the use of creative materials like cotton balls. The depth of field was set to be really close to the image as only the center of the image is in focus. The fire and fire trucks are the focus of the image while the buildings and street in the background and the street in the foreground is out of focus.
Is it a miniature or was it taken as a tilt shift: “from the roof of 104 5th avenue”?
