I was drawn to this photo because of he unusual composition and angle of the shot. Instead of a more straight on shot we are above while she crouches peering up with a guarded expression on her face. There are also beautiful textures from the velvet of the bottom of her dress, shiny bag, and curtain behind her. There is also pattern in the shoe placed more in the foreground and in her hair scarf. The way that she is positioned with the pool of fabric around her gives a more abstract and statue feeling from the shot except for how expressive her face is.
