This portrait is effective to me because it reminds me the Mona Lisa painted by Leonardo Da Vinci. The lady in this portrait is in the same gesture as Mona Lisa and I really like the contrast of light and shadow created by the photographer. Her eyes seem staring at me and interacting with me which catch my attention well.
