For the street photography project I chose to go to one of the most busy streets and try to capture what life is like during COVID-19 in Bethlehem. I wanted to capture a wise range of ages, emotions, interactions and workers. My favorite photographs that I took are the ones were there is clear happiness expressed by the subjects, even though their faces are covered with masks. The happiness shown despite our words circumstances is hopeful and refreshing. In addition I found my photograph of the young child holding the bottle of hand sanitizer to be another strong piece. Although so young, this young girl’s life is so greatly effected by this virus as well, and she probably won’t even understand it until she is much older.
