Sept. 23

“WWII Cemetery” is a photograph of the burial sites of what appears to be hundreds, if not thousands, of soldiers who fought in WWII. Each grave is marked with a cross. The photo is eerily stark. The content simply comprises of lots of crosses but its significance is clear. WWII was a historic war and thousands of lives were lost. This picture is not political in nature, it simply commemorates the lives lost in battle. The photographer framed it in a way that pays respect to the dead.
