From the three examples of photo books, I learned that the collection could be about an abstract idea, or could also be a specific groups of subject. The main focus (theme) could be people, historical moments, shooting method, or just an abstract idea. My very first idea was just shooting people’s life during pandemic, which is similar to Then They Came for Me, recording a historical event. To name a few other (somehow) vague ideas: cities at midnight, recording the empty streets and buildings during late hours; enthusiasm, taking pictures of people doing what they’re passionate about; photographers, taking pictures of other people taking pictures; macro or close up shots for subjects on the city streets.
