The image captured contains walls filled with posters that allude to propaganda. Huge walls are filled from top to bottom with posters and signs containing information, some are covered in paint. People on ladders and on pulley systems appear to be placing them on the walls. People on the floor below grab the posters and signs where they are scattered almost completely covering the floor. The Chinese photographer is referencing the Cultural Revolution where rival Red Guard factions would plaster the walls of the city in posters. He created the posters by hand to mimic corporate logos.
