This photo is amazing at showing motion though it is a still photograph. I love how I can see the twists and turns the dice took in their path of motion. I can see how one die bounced off of the surface and back in the air.
To try to avoid having too much light with long shutter speed, decrease ISO as low as possible, lower the aperture, and use a neutral density filter.
