It was taken in 1945 by Todd Webb and is titled La Salle at Amsterdam, New York. This photograph is of two happy-looking men who are selling what seems to be fruits and vegetables on the street. From analyzing the lighting, it looks like a sunny day and that sun is shining on the produce. All of the subjects in this photo are in the same depth of field and in same proximity to the camera. I chose this piece because I live in New York and this image seems like it could’ve been taken in 2020 because you see the same type of image on the streets now, even though this one was taken in 1945.
