Henri Cartier-Bresson: The Decisive Moment
These photos seem to capture the best moments of life in the mundane. They are of normal people living their lives and interacting with the environment around them. I really enjoy the framing of each photo that creates a unique narrative with each subject. The organization of the collection are grouped well, which as a graphic designer I hope to incorporate in my own book so that the gallery is cohesive. The lighting is essential in each of these photographs as well to set the mood of the photo which is even more dramatic with the use of black and white. This contrast make the photos seem more abstract as well and although they are mostly of people it is something that looks good hanging up in someones house without being too personal.
