This photo was taken by Trey Ratcliff in 2006, it is titled “The Veins of Bangkok”, taken in Bangkok, Thailand. This piece stood out to me because of the interesting composition and the movement that it captures. Despite the picture being taken from a great distance, you can still see so much detail in the streets and buildings, really showing the inner workings or “veins” of the city. The contrast of the orange in the streets and the cooler greens and blues in the buildings also adds strength to the piece, the compliments of the two colors makes this whole piece cohesive despite being such a busy and crowded subject matter.
