Short, Long and Creative Depth of Field, SosiSosi Korian Blog Post #7 DOF This is my short depth of field photo titled “Purple Flower”. I used the saturation, vibrance, highlights, whites, dehazing, texture, and cropping tools. I moved the flower to the left of the frame for a more interesting look. This flower was separated from the rest of the flowers which made it interesting to shoot. I think that the colors are vibrant and really draw the viewer in. This is my long depth of field photo titled “Backyard Garden”. I used the saturation, vibrance, dehazing, crop, highlights, exposure, and clarity tools for this photo. I cropped the top of this picture, which included a white wall from the house, because it was distracting. I enjoyed photographing this wall because I felt like it had a lot of detailed areas and appealing colors to look at. This is my creative depth of field photo titled “Wispy Plant”. I liked this one because it is a photo of a very small part of a plant. I chose this subject because of its interesting red highlights. Furthermore, the simplicity of it gives off a calm feeling to the viewer. I lowered the exposure on this photo quite a bit and used the saturation and vibrance tools the most. I also used the dehazing, clarity, and texture tools.
