Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi has worked to abolish child labor, trafficking and abuse for decades, in 2018 he released a youtube documentary called “The Price of Free” about his work raiding and rescuing children in these horrible situations. The film is based in India, however he makes it clear this is a worldwide problem that must be solved. The film features raw footage from raids and shows Satyarthi and his teams rescuing children. These images tell a heartbreaking story as they show scared children in terrible conditions. They also show images of hope, of children who have made it out and talk about their hopes and dreams. The stories that this documentary tells are both heartbreaking and inspiring and the emotion in this comes from the intense footage captured and images that are brought to light by Satyarthi.
